My passion is teaching children and watching them discover their potential! -- Mrs. Carr
IOH School where love & learning come together.
I'm originally from Savannah, Ga; however, I spent most of my youth growing up in a community called Alexander. (It's so small, you won't find it on the map!) This is where I learned to love nature. Still today, in my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, biking, and fishing with my family. On my 40th birthday, my family + I made my wish of becoming a teacher come true and I began working at Isle of Hope School. I graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University Dec. 2007 Magna Cum Laude earning my Bachelor of Science in Education. (Prior to this, I worked in the corporate world as a human resources manager.) I am the mother of three wonderful children and have two grandchildren, Brayden and Gracie. (Yes, children DO make the world go around!)
I've been at Isle of Hope School for 11 years now and have enjoyed every moment working with my students and watching them grow. My hopes for the future is to hear that they have achieved their dreams... |
